We collaborated with Tennis Australia and Beyond Tennis teams to design a polished and functional UI, ensuring a high-quality user experience across all devices.

• Discovery & Brand Alignment: We participated in stakeholder workshops to align on branding and UX requirements, followed by an initial review of Beyond Tennis’ branding, style guides, and wireframes to establish a clear design direction.
  
  
• UI Design Based on Branding & Direction: We developed the UI design based on the client’s existing branding and direction, ensuring alignment with their vision.
  
  
• Multiple UI Treatments & Feedback Integration: We proposed multiple UI design treatments, gathered feedback from the client, and worked collaboratively to refine and finalise the UI direction.
  
  
• UI Concepts: Our team created an initial UI concept, developing a core set of design elements, including buttons, icons, navigation menus, and input fields. We then presented the first-pass design to stakeholders for feedback.
  
  
• Iterative Refinement & Cross-Platform Design: We incorporated client feedback, refined the UI, and extended the design system to OS agnostic, ensuring visual and functional consistency across platforms.
  
  
• Collaboration with Developers: We worked closely with developers to confirm the feasibility of design elements and maintain a seamless transition from design to development.
  
  
• Final Design Package: We delivered a comprehensive UI package, including Figma design files, assets, and detailed notations to ensure a smooth development process. The final UI was optimised for various screen sizes, balancing responsiveness and usability. Additionally, we provided a complete design system to guide future app updates.

Since launch, Beyond Tennis has seen strong engagement, with users training players thousands of times and accumulating over a million points. Feedback has been positive, highlighting the app’s improved usability and immersive gameplay. To meet tight deadlines, we worked efficiently to ensure everything was ready for the Australian Open and the marketing launch across social media and TV. As development continues, we expect further growth in engagement and retention.
